Looking Ahead to the 2026 Legislative Session

Dear Friends,

As we begin a new year, I want to wish you and your family a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2026. The start of a new year is always an opportunity to reflect on what we’ve accomplished, reset our priorities, and look ahead with purpose and resolve.

I am beyond excited to be starting a new year full of actionable ideas. We haven't stopped working for you, but the new year brings a new energy and level of resolve as we keep you, our fellow Arizonans, in the forefront to make this a great state.

57th Legislature - Second Session Begins Soon

On January 12, the Arizona Legislature will officially convene for the Second Regular Session of the 57th Legislature.

While the calendar turns, the work of serving Arizonans never truly stops.

Over the past several months, we’ve been meeting with constituents, stakeholders, community leaders, and local officials across the state to prepare for the work ahead.

This upcoming session will build on the foundation we laid last year - defending taxpayers, supporting families and small businesses, protecting public safety, and holding the line against policies that would make Arizona less affordable or less free.

We’ll continue to focus on responsible budgeting, economic opportunity, water security, housing affordability, parental rights, and ensuring government remains accountable to the people it serves.

As Majority Leader, my priority remains clear: to lead a caucus that delivers results, listens to the people of Arizona, and governs with common sense and conservative principles.

The challenges ahead are real, but so are the opportunities — and I am confident that with thoughtful leadership and strong engagement from our communities, we can continue moving Arizona in the right direction.

I look forward to keeping you informed as the session gets underway and to hearing your thoughts as we tackle the issues that matter most.

Dear Friend, Many people have asked me, "If you're not in a contested primary this year, do I still need to vote?" My answer is simple: Absolutely. Because while I do not have a Republican primary opponent, the July 21 Primary Election will determine much more than my race. It will determine the Republican nominees who will compete this November for control of the Arizona Legislature. As Majority Leader, I have seen firsthand what a Republican majority can accomplish. Together, we've passed...

Dear LD25 Friends, When I first asked for the opportunity to represent Legislative District 25 in 2022, I made a simple promise: I would work hard every day to make Arizona an even better place to live, work, raise a family, and build a business. None of this has changed and I am proud of the steps that we have taken together in the right direction. Four years later, I can honestly say that promise has guided every vote I've cast, every bill I've sponsored, and every decision I've made....

Dear LD25 Friends, Last week, House Republicans helped pass a state budget that delivers real wins for Arizona families, taxpayers, students, veterans, and law enforcement. It has taken months of hard work and we couldn't be more excited. After months of negotiations, we kept our promise to secure a fiscally conservative budget that lowers taxes, controls spending, protects school choice, supports public safety, and keeps government accountable. This was our priority and we are pleased with...
