Why This Primary Election Matters for the State Legislature

Dear Friend,

Many people have asked me, "If you're not in a contested primary this year, do I still need to vote?"

My answer is simple: Absolutely.

Because while I do not have a Republican primary opponent, the July 21 Primary Election will determine much more than my race. It will determine the Republican nominees who will compete this November for control of the Arizona Legislature.

As Majority Leader, I have seen firsthand what a Republican majority can accomplish. Together, we've passed balanced budgets, lowered taxes, protected school choice, supported law enforcement, invested in infrastructure, strengthened Arizona's economy, and continued moving our state in the right direction.

That work only continues if we elect conservatives who share those values.

Every Legislative District Matters

There are 30 legislative districts across Arizona, each electing one Senator and two Representatives. Every seat contributes to whether Republicans maintain majorities in both the Arizona House and Senate.

The map below shows Republican turnout by county as of last week. While some counties are leading the way, others still have significant room for improvement.

This is the time to work hard to Get Out the Vote. Let's make our counties proud by delivering the highest voter turnout for a Primary!

Every vote matters. Strong turnout in every county helps ensure we nominate the strongest conservative candidates for November.

Vote Early

If you're a Republican or a conservative Independent who requested a Republican ballot... I encourage you to vote early. Contact your local voting location for times and dates.

You can also return your early ballot at one of several secure ballot drop-box locations before Election Day.

I am asking you to vote early and to call your Republican friends and neighbors to make sure that they have also voted early.

Looking Ahead

Although my name won't appear in a contested primary, I will face a Democrat in the November General Election.

I'm incredibly proud of everything we've accomplished together over the past four years, but our work is far from finished.

Arizona needs leaders who will continue fighting for responsible budgets, economic opportunity, educational freedom, public safety, and policies that keep our state strong.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to vote early, encourage your friends and family to do the same, and help ensure we elect strong conservative candidates in every legislative district across Arizona.

Dear LD25 Friends, Last week brought very good news for Arizona families. The Protect Education Act , also known as Proposition 212, will NOT appear on Arizona’s November ballot. For months, we have warned about the threat this initiative posed to Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program and the families who depend on it. Now, after an important Arizona Supreme Court ruling and the final review of petition signatures, the initiative failed to meet the number of valid signatures...

Dear LD25 Friends, As summer moves along and we look toward November, I've been thinking about something that can get lost in the day-to-day headlines: how much we've actually accomplished together. When our Republican majority began this legislative term, we laid out priorities centered on making Arizona safer, more affordable, more accountable, and better prepared for the future. We've had victories, we've had some hard-fought battles, and yes... we've had plenty of vetoes. But through it...

Dear LD25 Friends, One of the greatest privileges of serving as your Representative is seeing good policy make a real difference in people's lives. Without a doubt, every legislative session presents new challenges. But it also presents opportunities to improve Arizona for the families, veterans, workers, and businesses that call our state home. Over the past several months, I'm proud to say we've made meaningful progress, and none of it would have been possible without a Republican majority...
